Expand Altnet Aggregation for More Full-Fibre Choice
We’ve heard your feedback loud and clear — and we’re excited to share what we’re working on next. As more communities across the UK switch to full fibre, we know that not everyone is on Openreach. Many of you are: Waiting for Openreach FTTP to reach your street, or Moving from an Openreach FTTP area into an Altnet-only area, but still want to keep our top-quality service. Right now, that transition isn’t always seamless — and we want to fix that. ⭐ What We’re Proposing We’re exploring expanded aggregation with additional Altnet networks so you can stay with WestNetworks no matter where you move, who the infrastructure provider is, or what fibre network your property sits on. This means: More alternative full-fibre networks supported More postcode coverage across the UK More flexibility to take your WestNetworks broadband with you Less dependency on a single infrastructure provider A smoother experience for customers relocating between network types 📣 Why We Need Your Input Your experiences are shaping our roadmap. Whether you’re waiting for fibre, recently moved home, or are planning a move into an Altnet area — we want to hear from you. Tell us: Which Altnets you’d like us to support Where you’re based (general area, not full addresses) What challenges you’ve faced switching networks Your feedback helps us prioritise the next integrations. 👂 We’re Listening Our mission is simple: deliver premium broadband and phone services wherever you are, without compromises. Expanding Altnet aggregation is the next major step — and your input makes it possible. Comment below or contact us directly to share your thoughts. Let’s build a more connected future together. 🚀

Fix UK Mobile Coverage
One of the biggest frustrations we hear from customers is the inconsistency of mobile coverage across the UK. Every network has signal blackspots - and no single provider gets it right everywhere. So we set out to fix that. 🚧 The Challenge We explored the idea of creating a seamless, mega-network that merges all UK mobile operators for calls, texts, and data - but the reality is… it’s just not feasible (yet). Regulatory, technical, and commercial barriers make full voice/SMS roaming between networks impossible for now. But that didn’t stop us from improving what we can control. 🚀 Our Solution: Multi-Network 4G/5G Data While full convergence isn’t an option, we’ve successfully built a data-only roaming solution that uses: VirginMedia O2’s network VodafoneThree network Your device will automatically switch to the strongest available signal, giving you more consistent coverage and higher reliability across the UK. 💡 What This Means for You Better 4G/5G coverage, especially in rural or patchy areas Automatic signal switching between partner networks No need to manually select a network Faster, more stable data on the move 📞 What About Calls & Texts? Until the UK mobile ecosystem changes, true multi-network voice and SMS roaming isn’t possible - but we’re watching the space closely. For now, our goal is to fix the weakest part of UK mobile performance: data reliability 🗣️ We Want Your Feedback Tell us: How is mobile coverage in your area? Are you interested in a WestNetworks mobile product powered by this multi-network solution? Would you like to see physical SIM support, unlimited plans, or holiday roaming bolt-ons? Your input directly shapes our roadmap. 🌐 Better Coverage Starts Here We’re committed to delivering a smarter, more reliable mobile experience - even when the UK networks won’t join forces. This is the first step.
